Facilities
The Nanochemistry Research Institute has built up two world class facilities and is well equipped for multidisciplinary studies, both in-house, and via collaboration with other organisations.
- The Computational Molecular Modelling facility is state of the art.
- The Scanning Probe Microscopy Facility contains Atomic Force and Optical microscopes and is run by Dr Thomas Becker.
- Through the Western Australian Centre for Microscopy (WACM) the Institute also has access to scanning and transmission electron microscopes both here and at UWA.
- The Centre for Materials Research at Curtin also allows us access to microstructural analysis facilities.
